After having already spotted a 'Bug Rod' on the motorway and receiving a thumbs up, we were excited to arrive and see what was on offer. We eventually arrived after driving through heavy down pours and following muddy tractors along the back roads. The sun was out and we paid the entry and we were offered to enter the show and shine, so I followed the gents directions into the show ground.

Sadly I wasn't informed it was the actual show car show and shine instead of the daily show and shine which had been the day before so I was slightly out of my league, but was nice to have a chat with a few others owners. One thing i had noticed which had been rare for me before, was the amount of air cooled rides that had dominated the show.

Congratulations to the gent with the blue caddy, winning several trophies and the owner of the cream bug, after winning best engineered. Well deserved in my view!

This is easily one of my favorite shows of the year due to the wide variety of different cars that attend and show what they can do on the track. We got a great turn out on the Unlucky-Racing stand easily seeing over 20 cars make the early 5:30am trek from South Mimms, this is a figure we're hoping to smash next year thanks to the new merger thats occurring between 272 Heroes and Unlucky-Racing, I also love the relaxed attitude of the staff and marshalls at Lydden Hill as casual drifting is the order of the day during the many track sessions that run through out the day, giving great entertainment to the crowd

I didnt go on the hoon this month, instead just making my way straight for the "finish line" at the pub car park, turnout this time wasnt as good as it has been in the past but we were still graced with some great machinery.

Anyway, meeting at the infamous Kemals burger van at 7am and setting off shortly after was myself, Clive, Ben (in his s14 Zenki) and Greg in his little CRX. We arrived in plenty of time and took a good look around the collection of tasty cars on display at Eurospec2000.

Just half hour later and the brave first person's turn arrived. Clive was busy cleaning his air filter, so I took shotgun on first running.

The guys at Eurospec2000 first check the car over for oil & water leaks, then check the oil & water level, tyre pressures and general up-keep of the car very briefly before each run begins.

And then shortly after my car was driven around and reversed onto the Dyno. With a lot of hassle I might add, they finally got it on and strapped down.

Was pleased with my results after some chatting and next up was Clive's BMW.

Looked super aggressive on the rollers and this made the most power out of all the cars from the day – 268bhp. Impressive!

On come the little CRX, dropping next to no bhp in the 20 years since it was built! Equally as impressive!

The car's kept arriving and run's kept going through with little hassle. Ben was very worried about his poorly s14, I think you can read his "Its going to blow up" mind from this photo alone!

Luckily it didn't and he's now got some figures, graphs & advise to work from. I'm sure it'll be back running fine in no-time mate.

Early afternoon Revo decided to drag himself out of bed and show up. Was in for a treat with his ridiculously loud exhaust!

All in, a great day out and no-one's car blew up! Eurospec2000 handled everything brilliantly and you couldn't argue about the value for money they offered to us. Very professional and loads of advise going for each car – nice job guys

A pink JZX100 Chaser!

Not just a pretty face either, as you can see she's checking her tyre pressures just before her next track session.

Following the bright paint job on the outside is also this cute interior with loads of pink, Hello Kitty and Swarovski diamonds. A typical girly interior which you see in most Ford Ka's over the in UK – but obviously much, much cooler featured in her Chaser.

Im Adam, had a passion for car's for many years originally shared with my Dad. Having owned Subaru's, Supra's to Ultima GTR's and a home made GT40. Sadly my car history isn't as exciting, being a VeeDub man, having owned a MK2 Polo 'Breadvan' and currently driving a MK3 Golf. Although a new car is in the works, keep your eyes peeled…

After school I followed the Media path into college, attending a course to gain a Diploma in Media studies, which I passed. Sadly realising afterwards that the industry was so hard to get successful in.

I then decided to look for a more hands on job and so started an apprenticeship at a local dealership. Still having photography, web design and filming as a hobby. So after meeting some of the 272H guys I soon got in touch and here I am.

Anyway, that's enough about me. I hope you all enjoy what I have to offer and look forward to meeting more of you soon.

When I saw the Kouki Type-x kitted pink s13 at a Santa Pod drift day in mid June, unfortunately Dex, the owner, only managed 4 lap's before the engine decided it had done enough and went bang!

After Dex got the car back to Holland he was unsure if he should change the engine from a CA18DET to a SR20DET, but after taking his time trying to decide what the best opion would be, he decided to take all the good bits off this car then scrape the shell.

Shame, but I'm sure it was fun while it lasted and I look forward to seeing his next project build.

I'll own an Evo one day, I'll keep dreaming.

This is my 3rd S2000 (bought my first one in Oct. 1999). My build time with this one has been 13 months from bone stock to how it sits. This is the first time I've actually planned out my build and I wanted to make sure that all the mods worked with each other and that the "theme" of the build carried throughout the car.

Engine: Stock 2.2L block with Ported/Polished fully build head, Full-Race turbo kit w/GT35R, Hondata K-Pro standalone, ID1000's, AEM fuel rail, AEM FPR, K-Tuned fuel pressure gauge, walbro 255, Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch, Greddy oil cooler, AB Speed catch can/coolant overflow tank, AB Speed custom wiper fluid reservoir, Koyo radiator, F.A.L. radiator fans, Carbon/Kevlar cooling plate, Carbon/Kevlar spark plug cover, Odyssey PC925 battery (relocated to trunk), fuse boxes and wiring harnesses have been tucked.

Suspension: Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, Wilwood BBK, 18" BBS LM's with fully polished lips and "black chrome" powdercoated centers. 

Appearance: Full S2000 CR interior swap (seats, door panels, steering wheel, center console, shift boot, shift knob, radio door, and floor mats), Password JDM Carbon/Kevlar center console cover, Downforce Carbon/Kevlar diffusers (front splitter, side diffusers, 3 piece rear diffuser).

When I was planning my build, I wanted a nice balance of "show" and "go". With all the interior, exterior, engine bay mods and with 500rwhp @ 12psi I feel like I've accomplished that!

The thing I like best about my car is the "flow"….

Would love to see some videos/photos of this thing in action, could easily see this ripping Matsuri, and I'm sure it does on a regular basis.

I contacted the owner, Nermin Drinic, who was more than happy to tell me a bit about his car.

He tells us, "I owned an AP1 in June of 2010 and fell in love with it, but I sold it because I'm an idiot lol. I've been through 100+ cars since then. I ended up purchasing a 2004 Suzuka blue metallic AP2 S2000 in November of 2011".

He goes onto say, "A week later I ordered wheels, tyres, coilovers, and a front lip. Next up was a set of XXR 521 @ 18×10 +25 all around. 3" lips".

His beautiful s2000 is dropped on D2 coilovers and runs an APEXi exhaust, plus an AEM intake, "other than that the car is all stock".

Nermin tells me that his future plans for the car are to paint the lip, paint wheels white, side splitters and rear diffuser, then "Ride Out!".

"My favorite thing about the car is how much I love driving it. I've had the car for 4 months and every single time I get in it, I enjoy it even more".

Anyway, I've since grown to learn a little more knowledge about them. Then, as it happens, I stumbled across this blog post featuring this amazingly clean and very rare Pulsar VZ-R N1. And, for those of you who won't know, just to confuse things a little more than necessary, typical Nissan called the Almera a Pulsar over in Japan! So this isn't the usual Pulsar you'd be hearing about or expecting to see if you live in the UK.

This is bang-tidy super clean in a white-on-white combination, featuring the amazingly rare Lucino rear lights too.

The real gem with these VZ-R N1's is the power plant. Again, a rare SR20VE engine pumping an impressive 205bhp with some simple modifications.

You can tell almost immediately just by the name that this is not quite your run-of-the-mill stance event. The aim of the game is to get into the car park! Love it. And being classic Southern California with their huge sidewalk's and storm drains its probably a little more tricky than you might think, especially with the ridiculously low ride height's that those boys run at.

Arriving at just past 9am, our run was good and we managed to get in with little queue's and wandered around with not many other people for the first hour or so. Getting decent shots at the Autosport Show has proven difficult for me in the past due to their stupidly bright red carpet, often being brighter than the car that sits on it!

This Mercedes DTM car really stood out for me and I was really pleased with how these couple of photos come out. You'll notice the colour's being spot on thanks to the floor not being that bright red!

At 1pm we headed in the direction of the Live Action Arena since our viewing was 2pm. Whilst queuing we got a good look at the other activities on display – one which caught my attention was this Caterham drifting experience, basically where you'll pay a £10er to sit in a Caterham for 5 mins whilst the spin them around some cone's. It looked a laugh if you're the driver, but as drifting goes it was pretty pathetic. Then again, you can't expect too much with the limited space they had to play with.

And by just before 2pm we got ourselves into the Live Action Arena. Our seats were in a pretty sweet spot, up in the corner with very little people to obstruct our view.

Was incredible watching all the people flooding in and down the stairs behind us – there must of been well over a 1000 people I'd say? They were pouring in like this for over 20 mins!

The action continued for just over an hour and whilst it was good with the room they had, it wasn't as good as what I was hoping or from what I remember from when I've been to this show in the past. The MX Freestyle bikes were good, doing some crazy jumps & stunts, and of course the Japspeed drifting put on a good display, albeit it only lasted about 2 minutes.

By the time we got out we were both pretty tired, so another hour of walking & looking around saw the day off nicely, and we decided to head.

Both me and my girlfriend fell in love with this low and race prepped R35 GTR.

Not forgetting of course, the infamous (famous?) Autosport Show girls. So on that note, I'll leave you with some of the hotties from the day.

Just got in from the Autosport show at the NEC and the photo processing has started already. One of my favourite car's from the show, this stunning Rauh-Welt Porsche. Rear wheel's were silly!

This one I spotted a few days ago over at Dodo Logic. Looks so nice with clean decent fitment, nice & low with this subtle kit(?) of some kind.

How Great are these photos? Downtown Charlotte looks so good.Now – the RX8…

She's Equipped with the best wheels ever! Advan RS-D (D for Dish) Genuine Mazdaspeed kit and a huge ARP GTC-200 Wing as just a few things to list. This is also used to compete in Autocross Events so the big wing is definitely necessary as well as the big brake kit not to mention the subtle sponsorship decals.

All in all thousands have been spent on this and in my eyes it's perfect. What else do you need from a track-street car? Definitely the inspiration for my RX8! I'll leave you with this awesome rolling shot.

Anyway, this VW Golf got me intrigued with the blog title over on StanceWorks – A Work In Progress. As they've said themselves, a work in progress is usually a project where you're not quite happy with how it currently stands, but one that you'll be improving on later down the line.

Looking at the photos of this MKV Golf, I can't see how anyone could consider this a work in progress project. Its perfect, without any doubt, surely?!

Absolutely love the clean styling going on here, and the tidy red highlights of the interior work so well with the immaculate white exterior. As always, props to Stance:Works.

Toyota have also released there new 2012 car. Strangely its not their new Toyota 86 but, wait for it … A Toyota Prius!

Japanese weekly publication, オートスポーツ Auto Sport Magazine, reports that a Toyota Prius is being prepped to race in the 2012 season. The new Prius model will be modified to race in the GT300 series  and will begin testing early next year.

Also, Team JIMGAINER will replace their F430 GT and replace it with the new CR-Z GT300 and race it along side their 458 GTC race car, the car is still in production but this is rough idea on how its should look.

Anyway, headed over to his blog a few days ago and was stunned by these superb photos of his car, cursory of FOTOmotive. 

After Recently Watching Initial D for the 20th time I'm having some really naughty thoughts about the famous AE86. After some searching looking for some cool photos to inspire me and help the tough decision, I found this really cool photo of a Panda AE86.

Sitting standard down a typical Japanese road, it just looks right.

Oh yeah, and did I forget to mention its got a 1JZ engine with a Mother-sized Turbo. Awesome.

I raised £12. I spent most of that in the shop where I had the coins changed.

At school, all I could talk about was that yellow Mazda, boring boys and girls with impunity. I didn't care what they thought, I had a higher goal in life. That one day I would own an ageing yellow Mazda sports car owned by someone with clear mafia connections. To make matters worse, the first Fast and Furious film was released a matter of days later, with Vin Diesel adopting his signature driving shoulder inside a red RX7.

They say you should never meet your childhood stars. But they're wrong. After 10 years of dog walking and car washing (plus a few other arguably less interesting jobs), I was in a position to buy an FD. So I did.

There isn't anything about the car that I don't love. From opening those discreet door handles, to sliding inside the sleek cockpit, to firing up that burbling 13B, everything about this car has an air of theatre about it. The noise of those twin turbos spooling up is enough to cause an erection in even the most soulless man, and the balance and poise of the car in the corners is sublime.

It's coming up to Christmas, and wives/girlfriends everywhere are asking their man what he wants. Instead of buying him another bottle of that hideously expensive aftershave, ask him what he really wants. Buy him 'Closer to the Edge' and 'Senna' on DVD to watch while you're out shopping, and bring him back the one thing he's always wanted. As it happens, I always quite fanced a white Lamborghini Countach, if anyone is reading.

There were about 30 car's that turned up, I'd say. Some of my favourites include this tidy Mk1 Golf.

This well fitted Audi A3 was also looking tidy, sporting a bonnet bra to enhance that Euro look.

I was literally speechless taking photos of this gorgeous Eunos Roadster, absolutely stunning running on 15×8 Rota Grid V's.

A good handful of lowered Civic's were also to be found, easy to make the EK Civic shape look nice – just lower it!

Also something that caught my eye was this unusual old VW. I don't even know what this really is, but it sounded pretty unique & pretty loud! (Type 3 Fastback I'm told!)

I had a fun afternoon – good company, Sunday roast & the usual funny banter that I've come to expect from the crowd.

Mark spent all of last night editing this even though he had to get up for work at 5am – crazy fool. Then again his video is brilliant.

Cannon has been a close mate of mine now for the best part of about 3 years since I got to know him through Nissan s-body ownership and he always strives to improve the cars he owns in unique ways that often seem ridiculous at first thought.

I'll start this blog post with going back to 6 months ago. His once standard red s14a, as it started out, soon turned into a monster of a car with the BN Blister kit that was professionally moulded to the car, then widened even further, along with huge dishy wheels with power to spin them. 

It was certainly a stunner and a unique one at that.

His interests have since changed and is now the proud owner of this beautiful red RX7 FC Vert which he's owned for about 3 months. He tells me its already been a huge learning curve for him, coming from the relatively easy to tune & drive s14a to this somewhat more delicate of a car, but he says for him that's part of the fun. 

"The first time I turned it on and it raced to 3000rpm straight away, I was there thinking it was about to explode", he laughs as he recalls his first cold-start on the RX7 and its tendency to rev high when cold to help warm the rotary engine. "And then I got the door-bell-style buzzer go off when I nailed it down a slip road", he goes onto say, recalling the first time he opened her up on some quiet local roads, which is the RX7's quirky way of saying you've gone far enough on the rev range! 

"It's a unique car to start with, and then its a Vert, which makes it even more special & weird" says Cannon. His car also proudly sports some very tasty fitted Weds Kranze wheels with some fairly aggressive fitment (17×8.5/17×9 et8), along with a custom 3.5" twin-exit exhaust system and a modified airbox pipe.

Another unusual feature to get used to on his RX7 is the rear wheel steering, "It initially feels that it's about to step out and begin drifting, but then it just turns in some more – it really is planted like its on rails, similar to driving an Integra DC2" he tells me.

However that's soon to change as well, as he assures me that he'll be getting either a Welded diff for the car or removing & locking the rear wheel steer to let the LSD take over since he's hoping to put it through its passes at a drift day in the coming months.

Beside the near future plans of eventually drifting it, Cannon says he's also interested in buying a Holset HX40 Truck Turbo, along with some supporting mods such as bigger injectors and some other goodies.

"It'll probably explode as soon as I attempt to get more power from it anyway" he laughs, and then goes onto say he'd love to fit a 13BTT Twin Turbo Mazda engine to it if it ever did, or maybe he'd go back to his Nissan routes with the famously reliable SR20 engine. 

I personally can't wait to see how this car evolves, whichever route and future modifications Cannon decides to do. I will almost certainly be there – alongside him in my s13 on his first drift day with the RX7, eagerly watching to see him enjoy the car.

After a couple days I got a PM from Paul, little did I know but he was in the process of making a replica kit of the OEM Nissan parts hand made by himself, all with super high-quality Fiberglass and all to factory OEM specifications.

I jumped to joy when I got his PM and when I saw the first photos of the front bumper being moulded. Anyone who's looking to buy Kouki Type-X aero full well knows how rare & impossible to find the parts are, so finding Paul making this stuff readily available in the UK was a dream.

I got straight onto the reply to him and shortly placed my order. He made several versions of the kit in various strengths with differences to the way the Fiberglass is moulded, but because of my limited budget at the time, I went for the cheapest option.

It arrived a couple of weeks later extremely well packaged. I rushed home and soon had the front & rear bumper on. Fitment was even better than the stock Nissan pre-facelift bumper I was rocking before – I could not have wished for better fitting bumpers, especially considering this is Fiberglass afterall.

Since that, I've bought a couple of other parts from Paul since I unfortunately have damaged some of the kit in drifting mistakes. Of course the Fiberglass will never be as durable as the OEM plastic counterparts, but getting hold of the OEM stuff is almost impossible, its great to know that it can all be replaced relatively easily.

I can hear you saying – because I run my car so low and drift it hard, surely it won't last 5 minutes, but as it happens the splitter you can see now cable tied together was because I spun off at Mallory Park at over 60mph and hit the gravel. The impact was intense, and I was sure that the whole front bumper & splitter would have been obliterated. To my surprise, the splitter has cracked in a couple of places and the front bumper took minor damage. Very impressive – and to think this is the cheapest & least strong of the Fiberglass kits he offers!

Since that I have upgraded the front splitter to his "MAX" version, which is as strong as it gets. Paul says the MAX stuff that he offers is almost as strong as the ABS plastic counterparts, and I'll be putting it through its passes during 2012 with many drift days to come.

On top of the Kouki stuff that Paul does, he's also started making the PS13 K's Aero, which is equally as difficult to get hold of if you're wanting OEM parts. Again, this is all top quality stuff produced to exactly the same specifications as the OEM parts.

I can see Paul and Magic Aero going a long way in the future and I look forward to the exciting new stuff he'll be making, building & producing throughout next year. I'll keep this blog up to date with his latest products.

James Recently bought this shuttle as a cheap daily while his MKI Polo is hibernating during these cold and damp winter months.  

James has gone for a unique balls out style when it comes to his civic. It must be hard driving around in the big purple box, but that's exactly what James is after. Recently at a local meet this little Civic was getting more attention than FD3S', R32's and S-bodies.

On a weekly basis this car is on my Facebook status updates with all the photo shoots James is attending. And almost its always on a different set all wheels- I can't even keep up! Good work James!
