272 Heroes November 2011 Meet.

It becoming apparent that our ever-growing friendly bunch of folk who attend the meets & who get involved on the forum want an almost-monthly meet organised by the 272 Heroes staff folk. It's great to hear that everyone enjoys the meet's we put on so much - we find its a great opportunity to show off what you've done with your car recently, to get out & go for a nice drive, meet new faces & get inspiration from others. And of course practice the photography!

So far the meets have been a great success, with almost every time more people attending than what was on the list. November's Saturday evening meet was defiantly no exception. It was a great feeling watching the car's line up all the way outside the car park & around the corner when everyone was pouring in. Its never known when you organise a meet how many are actually going to show up!

Everyone got in alright and it seemed that once again it was a great success, still attracting the right kind of crowds.

There were certainly a couple of cars that took my attention, and Tony's Corsa was one of them. Sure, you might be thinking, its a Corsa with banded steels & a huge engine, and? Its only until you get chatting to Tony how much time & effort he's put into this thing to make it what it is today. Not only a clean looking Corsa with some tidy fitted wheels, its RWD too. Yeah, it really is!

I'm not much of a bike person but it was nice to see a couple of forum members rock up on their bikes, they seemed to enjoy the ride to & from the car park as well. The tasty red s14a was a pleasure to look at as well, bronze wheels with the vibrant red paint is always a winning combination, so clean.

Ryan's s13 finally made it out of his driveway and all the way to Chichester without him stacking it, which is (no joke) a first! With the help of many 272 Heroes forum folk, this car has been rebuilt & re-shelled over the past couple weeks into how it stands now. Sure, its not much of a looker, but its driving & its Ryan's drift toy which he'll be putting into good use on the upcoming Santa Pod DWYB days.

This BMW E36 was sat in the corner was looking super hard. Slight hint of Euro with the yellow tinted headlights really made this work.

Clint's Impreza was looking great as usual. This car has changed a lot recently and its now looking so much different to what it did several months ago. The huge rear carbon wing works so well with the clean white shell & white wheels.

Cannon's RX7 Vert is defiantly a show stopper, like all of the car's this boy has had before. I think he's used to the attention that his car's get now, so its no surprise that it drew so many people to it, rocking a set of pimp Weds Kranze wheels which work so well.

I'll be doing a full feature article on this car shortly, so stay tuned for that.

Mike's MG ZS always gets me as a fantastic car & build. Firstly its such an unusual car to modify, and secondly I love the way Mike has done it. With subtle hints of modification to the untrained eye, yet some huge influences of USDM inspiration key this whole car.

Finally, I'll leave you with a couple of shots of my s13 & my buddy Ben's s13 parked up next to each other. Was a great meet, and I'm sure they'll be many more to come in the future.

You can find a ton more photos in the Media section on the forum, also from the other photographers that were there as well. Along with Rich's video that he made on his iPhone, really quite good!

Also please take a read of the Slanced.com write-up too! Hope you enjoyed reading.
